About MATEX Dallas
A nonprofit organization serving the Dallas Metroplex.
Rooted in Community. United by Heritage.
As the Mandingo population in the Dallas–Fort Worth area continued to grow, community members recognized the need for an organization that could bring families together, preserve our cultural heritage, and strengthen connections within the community.
In 2006, members of the community came together and formally organized the Mandingo Association of Texas – Dallas (MATEX Dallas, Inc.).
Since its founding, MATEX Dallas has served as a place for Mandingo families and community members to connect, celebrate their culture, support one another, and work together to build a stronger community for future generations.
MATEX Dallas, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization.
Responding When Help Was Needed
